Albania will expect us excellently, we do not go to protect
Serbian national coach Dragan Stojković has made an emotional and charged statement before the match against our nation. on June 7 in Tirana.
Stojkovic has emphasized the importance of facing Albania, a match declared at high risk because of its sensitivity, but has demanded that everything remain within the sports.
« It’s a very important match for both them and for us, but after all it’s just a football match. Albania is a quality team, but that doesn’t mean Serbia will come to protect or surrender with a white flag – this will not happen, » he said.
The Serbian coach was convinced of a correct atmosphere and good hospitality in Tirana, adding that the same respect would return to Albanians in the return match.
« I am sure that hospitality will be excellent and perfect organization. We do not care about irresponsible statements, political tensions or provocations. We are co -organizers of the European Championship for young people and we are friends in football, » he said.
