Northern Macedonian Prime Minister Christian Mitskoski gave information about the meetings with Kazancı Holding at a press conference with Kazancı Holding Chairman Cemil Kazancı.
Kazancı Holding Chairman Cemil Kazancı said, im I am proud to be in your country. As Aksa Energy and Aksa Natural Gas, we desire to make various investments in your country. At our meeting with your Prime Minister and your ministers, we stated that we will quickly travel to solve the country's energy problem and gas distribution business in the fastest way. Our investment will be an investment of approximately one billion euros. With this, we will make our best efforts to reduce air pollution and reduce energy costs. I hope it will be beneficial, ”he said.
Prime Minister Mitskoski, who gave information about the Aksa brand, stated that a big step will be taken in the fight against air pollution and said, “We are meeting with Kazancı Holding about the construction of a secondary network under very favorable conditions for the natural gas and heating network that will reach households”.
Prime Minister Mitskoski said that the whole project is foreseen as an investment exceeding one billion euros with the secondary natural gas network, heating network and cogeneration power plants ”.
Two models are focused on the project. In the first model, the company will make its own investment or plan as a project public-private partnership. It is expected that an agreement will be reached in a short period of time.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Field Planning Izet Meciti and Energy, Mine and Mineral Resources Minister Sanja Bozinovska attended the talks.
