Airbaltic launches new direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius to a tyrant
Airbaltic Latvian airline expands a message with Albania, opening direct flights to a tyrant from Tallinn (Estonia) and Vilnius (Lithuania). With the launch of these routes, all three capitals of the Baltic countries-Riga (Latvia), Tallinn and Vilnius-are now directly related to the capital of Albania, offering passengers even more convenient travel options, the company’s press service reports.
Mantas Vrayabrauskas, Vice President of Management of the Airbaltic route network:
“Since the launch of direct flights from our base in Riga to Tirana last year, the demand for flights between the countries of the Baltic and Albania has grown significantly – this direction has become one of the most popular in the summer. Therefore, we decided to strengthen our presence in the Albanian market, launching new direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius. These routes open up excellent opportunities for the rest of the Baltic inhabitants, contribute to the development of entry tourism from Albania and improve the transport connectedness of the region both inside the Baltic countries and throughout our route network, covering more than 70 directions. ”
The first flight from Tallinn to the tyrant took place yesterday, June 2, 2025. The route will be served twice a week until September 30, 2025. The first flight from Vilnius flew to Tirana today, June 3, shortly after midnight, and will also be executed twice a week before the end of September.
New routes became the second and third direction of Airbaltic to Albania, complementing a direct message between Riga and Tyrana, launched last year and also performed twice a week.
