Air Force: Hornet fighter flights continue normally
Accident|There has been no reason to continue the flight interruption in the data of the accident machine’s storage equipment.
F/A-18 Hornet -Fighters continues to operate normally, says the Air Force. Non-operational flight operations for Hornet fighter jets were suspended after Wednesday’s air crash.
The black boxes, or storage equipment, were found on Thursday and their investigation began. There was no grounds for the accident machine’s storage data data to continue to interrupt flight operations, the Air Force said on Friday in the release.
Air Force On Wednesday, the Hornet fighter was practicing an agenda in Rovaniemi as the plane fell to the ground and caught fire. The pilot rescued the machine on the throw.
Already on the day of the accident, the Air Force announced that the events would not affect the readiness of the Air Force. Operational flight activities have continued normally.
A seven -person accident investigation team has been appointed to carry out an accident investigation. The group consists of professionals in many different industries in military aviation.
In Finland, the Military Aviation Accident Investigation is responsible for the Military Aviation Unit. Captain Eero Viitanen from Karelia Airport has been appointed leader of the investigation team.
