Agreement between Albania, Kosovo and Croatia. Minister Vengu has 2 words for Vucic
Albania’s Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu explained details of the 3-point military agreement between Albania, Kosovo and Croatia. Wengu said the agreement between the 3 countries has very clear principles, which, according to him, are based on the strategic priorities of the EU in the region. The minister also added that the agreement between the three countries is an open initiative and invited Serbia to become part of it, further saying that Belgrade and President Vucic have been prejudiced for these initiatives.
« Albania as a mother country is responsible beyond Kosovo Albanians, but also for Albanians in Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. Our agreement has very clear principles. It is based on the EU Compass and strategic priorities in the region, NATO strategic priorities in the region, and it is simply a demand for more attention to both of the Kosovo Croats,
Second, we have other elements in the agreement, which relate to the regeneration of the military industry in our countries. We are aiming for the possibility of joint procurement of vehicles, equipment and protection systems. This is because all of Europe is in a situation where we need to increase military spending for collective security.
And we cannot consider the collective security mechanism in full, setting Kosovo aside these mechanisms. This is an open initiative that if other countries in the region, including Serbia, want to be attached to this mechanism, they definitely have the opportunity to attach this mechanism.
