Aging Challenge Glove / Day

There will be more than 50 countries in the world this year with an average life expectancy of over 80 years, shows CIA World Factbook data. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the average life expectancy of people in the last fifty years has increased by 20-30 years (depending on the regions and the country in question). Such figures, of course, indicate undeniable achievements in several areas, ranging from medicine to the prevention or reduction of hunger in certain regions of the world. At the same time, however, it also means a growing increase in elderly people among the population, which in turn creates new challenges of national economies, budgets, social systems, etc.

Countries – Long Living

The average life expectancy of the people of the world is traditionally related to the level of well -being and economic stability of these countries, which in most cases also corresponds to the truth. Between CIA World Factbook The above 58 countries and territories whose average life expectancy is expected to be 80 years or more this year, poor countries are few. High -level medicine, social system, quality of quality of life, etc. Factors, which all together significantly prolong the life expectancy of citizens, cost expensive, and accordingly, all of this can only be provided in countries with a high level of welfare. In addition, only high income in the state budget is not enough in this case – it is also necessary to at least a reasonable distribution of money and an appropriate long -term policy in several areas.

For this reason, there is a widespread tendency to associate the average life expectancy in the West with democracy. This is argued in that democracy provides the implementation of the most appropriate policy and the distribution of funds in the interests of the majority. To a large extent, it also corresponds to the truth, though with several reservations. First of all, the existence of democracy does not in itself guarantee sufficient resources to provide all necessary measures. Secondly, there is nothing to interfere with the appropriate policy of implementing rich regimes, which are further or less further from the standards of democracy. At least some of the issues in such cases can be resolved even faster and easier than all democratic procedures. Similarly, in the conservative political environment, the view is that liberal democracy with its tendency to various excesses (such as the legalization of mild drugs) is not the political system that would contribute to the increase in the average life expectancy.

Another important factor, of course, is different types of local conditions – from a traditional, healthy lifestyle (such as mountain areas, islands, etc.) to some genetic features that greatly increase the chances of living a long life. Mainly for these reasons mentioned in the aforementioned CIA World Factbook In the first half of the list, there are a significant number of exotic islands, many of which will find it difficult to find quite difficult on the map of the world.
