Croatian water polo players failed to win the final tournament finals World Cup in Podgorica, where in Saturday’s semi -final duel they were defeated by the national team Spain with 19-14 (8-6, 6-3, 3-2, 2-3).

In the first half of the third quarter, Andrija Bašić brought Croatia to -3 (11-14) with two goals, but the Spaniards responded with a series of three hits and entered the last part of the game with +6 (17-11). In less than four goals, Ivica Tuck’s selectors were no longer able to come.

Almost unstoppable Alvaro Granados, who scored seven goals for Spain from ten attempts. Four goals each scored by Alberto Munarriz and Bernat Sanahuja.
The best Croatian shooters were Andrija Bašić and Marko Žuvela with three hits each, and two was scored by 17-year-old Maro Šušić.
