Just like yesterday, our country has again become the target of cyber criminals. Various hospitals and schools were attacked, so that their websites were temporarily unreachable. In the meantime, all problems would have been solved.
‘Keymous+’ claims responsibility for cyber attacks. They claim to be a North African group of hackers and want to support Noname057 with their action, the hackers collective that carried out cyber attacks yesterday because Belgium has promised 1 billion euros in support to Ukraine.
The Noname057 collective consists of pro-Russian hackers who have been active for several years. They have previously carried out cyber attacks on government websites, media and private companies in Ukraine, the US and Europe.
According to experts, it is about DDOS attackswhere a lot of traffic is led to the sites, so that they are no longer accessible. Such an attack is not dangerous, but causes overloading and nuisance for users.
Among other things, the Sint-Lievencollege in Ghent, the British School of Brussels, the Sint-Jans Hospital, the Sint-Pieters Hospital and the University Hospital Saint-Luc, all in Brussels, were targeted last night.
In the meantime, everything would be normal again.
