Šurany. The city police in Šurany are waiting for a reorganization. Mayor Marcel Filaga confirmed this.
He claims that the goal is to strengthen its credibility, transparency and professional standards. The reorganization also applies to the occupancy and functionality of the police.
In recent weeks, two members have left her advice. The investigator of the Office of the Inspection Service was the first to give notice to the police officer, who was detained on March 18, with another – state police officer. The reason was the accusation of insurance fraud.

On Thursday, April 24, criminals intervened at the city police station again. But they found no one, they only took documents.
After their intervention, the police chief gave an immediate statement on the same day.
« At his own request, he asked for termination of employment, » Mayor Šurian confirmed to MY newspaper.

The police officer detained because of the insurance fraud
