LNK.LT footage:
It is true that as the main hiking trail from the center of Juodkrantė resort to Amber Bay, all of this clutter is not visible – it lies away from the eyes of outsiders. Instead, there is a magnificent sign at the main trail, indicating that this place is really special. The sign « Amber Bay Historical Reserve » is written on the mark in large letters.

“During the inspection, it was found that construction waste poured on the Curonian Lagoon, which was poured out on the Curonian Lagoon, and the information was officially referred to the Department of Environmental Protection (AAD), which directly performs control functions and records environmental irregularities on the Curonian Lagoon coast.
The Curonian Spit National Park Directorate does not have information on what persons pour construction waste and for what reasons. It should find out the AAD, ”VSTT informed the LNK.lt portal.
The Department of Environmental Protection (AAD) told the LNK.lt portal that his officers would conduct a local inspection and open an investigation. « We will be able to provide more accurate information at the end of the investigation, » the AAD replies state.
Didn’t know or close her eyes?
By the way, it is interesting that the State Service for Protected Areas said that the situation is best known to the Curonian Spit National Park Directorate.
Indeed, on the day the LNK.lt portal journalists recorded construction and other waste, poured on the shore of the lagoon in Amber Bay Historical Reserve, in the same Amber Bay, four cars parked in one of the buildings, even three of them were marked with inscriptions and logos.
What did such a large number of forces of the Curonian Spit National Park Directorate in a small Amber Bay, where they watched or close their eyes, if they didn’t see that the World Heritage List of the Curonian Spit in the historical reserve of construction waste and the Gulf of Amber starts to look like a landfill?
