After conviction in the Pichal case, musical actor now also gets a fine and driving ban: « I have become a different person » (Sint-Niklaas)

Reuben DB (35), who had been in prison with a delay in the aftermath of the Sven Pichal case, received an extra fine and a driving ban from the Sint-Niklase police judge. The man was caught in April 2023 when he was behind the wheel under the influence of cocaine.
Reuben DB, nor his lawyer Isabel de Fré were present at the ruling of the police court. He sentenced DB to a fine of 3200 euros and a 3 -month driving ban. He was also immediately apparent from his right to steer and will first have to prove that he is completely clean before he is eligible to get a driver’s license again. In addition to the theoretical and practical driving exam, he will also have to take medical and psychological tests.
Life
During the session, Reuben DB had explained to the judge that he had completely reversed his life after he flew in the cell in August 2023, a few months after he was caught under the influence after sculpting images of child abuse that had been shared by DB. In the exit of that room, formerly Radio presenter Sven Pichal was also convicted.
Four therapists
« On my own initiative, I went to a private clinic in South Africa to work on all my addictions. I have returned as a different person, » DB told the handling of his case. Even today, the man is under the guidance of four therapists. Because besides his addiction to alcohol and drugs, there was also that addiction to sex and porn. DB itself pays for all those therapies.
Find work
For the sake of sex offenses, DB was already sentenced in June 2024 to a prison sentence with a 30 -month postponement. This police penalty is now on top of that. « I will accept every punishment, I realize that things have happened that cannot. I live back home with my mother in Antwerp. I try to work back. But in Belgium that no longer succeeds. At the moment of the facts, two employment contracts were ready. But those employers both pulled their paw back. I now try to get started in the Netherlands. »
