AEP launches a spot on vote (video)

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) offers the public a video spot on the exercise of the right to vote on the presidential elections made within the campaign ‘Find yourself correctly and only from official sources’.

The information campaign, launched in the context of conducting the electoral period for the presidential elections in May, aims to correctly inform the public about the electoral process, as well as to prevent and combat the phenomena in the scope of misinforming in order to diminish the harmful effects that these types of activities generate on the free elections, transmitted on Thursday Agerpres.

« In the current information climate dominated by techniques and tactics aimed at spreading misinformation in order to erode confidence in democratic electoral processes, by carrying out this campaign, the AEP emphasizes the importance of correcting voters regarding their rights and responsibilities in order to strengthen the integrity and the correct process, »

The video spot on the exercise of the right to vote on the elections for the President of Romania in 2025 can be accessed and downloaded from the official YouTube channel of the institution, being available at the following link: https://youtu.be/pax2bnfigw0.

At the same time, all information materials made by AEP can be accessed on the page Web www.roaep.ro and on the social media accounts of the authority (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and X).

The Permanent Electoral Authority encourages the takeover and promotion of the campaign messages and by other entities involved in elections, such as public institutions, civil society, media, online platforms and content creators.

The campaign ‘Inform yourself correctly and only from official sources’ is part of the series of activities carried out by the Permanent Electoral Authority for organizing the electoral process this year in accordance with the legal provisions, under conditions of transparency and equality for all citizens.
