Action within a restaurant in Lalzi Bay, some long -demanded
Durres police have successfully finalized the operation codenamed « Enigma », an action that led to the arrest of 7 citizens, including 3 people declared wanted for serious criminal offenses in the field of crimes against person and drug trafficking.
The operation took place in a restaurant in the Gulf of Lalzi, where the detainees were caught in flagrance with firearms with cartridges in the nest, ready for use.
Durres Police Director Vilson Bala released details at a press conference, stressing that the action was carried out in cooperation with the Special Operations Force and other State Police structures.

During the operation, 4 pistol firearms were seized, which these citizens carried with them, with cartridges.
More specifically, yesterday, the structures of the Durres Local Police Directorate provided information on the operational route, that some citizens, with high social risk, were in the premises of a restaurant in Lalzi Bay and were suspected of having firearms with them.
Based on this information and risk analysis, there was a need to involve the operation, and the Directorate of Operations Force in the State Police.
As part of the operation, in high security measures, police services surprisingly intervened in the premises of the restaurant where these citizens were located.
The parade verifications showed that 7 citizens were sitting on one table, including 3 demanded social risk, namely:
Xhevdet Elder Alias Kiss, 45, a resident of Durres, declared internationally wanted by the CCK Interpol Roma, after the Brescia Court, Italy, has issued arrest warrants for the offense of « Narcotics Trafficking ». This citizen escaped from Ancona prison in January 2025 and therefore Italian judicial authorities issued arrest warrants. During the search, this citizen was found a pistol with a cartridge in the nest ready for shooting;
Flobens alias alias Gega alias Drini, 43, resident of Shkodra, declared wanted by SPAK, after the first instance court for corruption and organized crime, in July 2024, has ordered the security measure « Arrest in prison » for the offenses « Criminal Organizations », « Committing offenses » by a structured criminal group « . During the search, this citizen was found two forged identification documents and 1 firearm with a cartridge in the nest for shooting;
Voltan Xhani, 39, born in Permet, resident in the Netherlands, after in September 2024, the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Shkodra has assigned the security measure « Arrest in prison » for the offenses « Trafficking in motor vehicles » committed in co -operation and « Providing Conditions and Murder », Citizens E. Str., Situated in Shkodra. During the physical search and in his bag, police found 1 firearm with a fade in the nest for shooting;
Janie Jani, 35, born in Permet, for the offenses of « Production and unlawful possession of weapons and ammunition », « Failure to report crime » and « Support of the perpetrator ». During the search, 1 pistol and ammunition were found;
Oh, 38 years old, resident in Mamurras, suspected of committing the offenses of « Failure to Crime » and « Support of the perpetrator »;
P., 36 years old, resident in Tirana, for the offenses of « Crime Failure » and « Support of the perpetrator »;
Ah, 45 years old, resident in Mamurras, suspected of the offenses of « Crime Failure » and « Support of the perpetrator. »
During the operation, they were seized in the quality of material evidence, money amounts, euros and other items.
In cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, in -depth investigations into the legal documentation of the criminal activity of these citizens continue.
We emphasize the fact that this operation was organized and developed in a record time, professionally, successfully finalizing despite the high degree of danger as I quoted above, as 3 of them had firearms with cartridges ready for shooting.
