Action gets forged and dangerous children’s toys from store shelves

Price breaker Action gets ‘My Little Pony Explore Equestria’ from the store shelves and asks that those who bought the toys brings it back to the store. The figures contain too many chemicals that are used to make plastics flexible. It is also not about the original figures but about fakes.
The toys from the cartoon of the same name is particularly popular with young children. Action sold the now recalled figures since November 2024. But now they get everything out of the stores and call on customers who bought the toys to bring the pony figures back to the store.
There are too many phthalates in the toys. These are plasticizers who can be harmful to health if the standards are not respected. And that is the case here.
« Product quality and safety is our highest priority, » emphasizes Action spokesperson. « We only want to sell products that meet our strict quality and safety guidelines. If we have indications that a product does not suffice, Action immediately takes measures to guarantee the safety and well-being of its customers. »
A German consumer organization tested the product and discovered a too high level of phthalates. « We immediately tested this analysis and agree with the findings. We regret it and immediately removed this article from our stores after the result arrived and it is therefore no longer for sale. »
Without a receipt
« We have determined that the toy has been falsified, » the spokesperson continues. « Action has the importer who supplied the toys in the stores in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Unfortunately, it is not clear at the moment who the manufacturer is. We urged the supplier to find out this, since this is a matter of public safety. »
The recall of Action concerns the ‘My Little Pony Explore Equestria’ with action article number 3215230, EAN code 5010994932367 and manufacturer code B3598. The product was sold at Action between November 2024 and April 2025. Customers who have the toys in their possession can bring it back to the store and get their money back, even without a receipt.
