Accusations of discrimination in the emergency system. DSU will notice CNCD

DSU also emphasizes that at national level there are several emergency units (UPU), including from the regional hospitals conducted by women, and in this context it requests ‘the withdrawal of these statements and a responsible public explanation’, as well as ‘respecting the legislation on equal opportunities and the non -discriminatory treatment within the public institutions’.

‘Given the discriminatory circumstances applied to a woman, the negative impact on the management of the other UPU at national level, but also of the entire emergency system, the Emergency Department will notify the National Council for Combating Discrimination. We mention that the Department for Emergency Situations does not intervene in the decisions to appoint the heads of the Emergency Reception Units, these being the competence of the management of each hospital.
