A prisoner in the prison of Haren, who is stuck in an organized crime case, is held in a special security regime despite a judgment that prohibits this forbids. His lawyers, Romain Delcoigne and Sven Mary, condemned that on Saturday.

The prisoner in question is under arrest mandate in the Antonio Ferrara file. That recidivist French-Italian robber who is considered very dangerous was arrested in Eupen at the beginning of March during a serious police action.

The prison administration confirms to Belga that the management of the Haren prison has indeed received the decision of the appeals committee and that it is currently « assessing it from a safety point of view ».

The gang around the French-Italian gangster Antonio Ferrara was rolled up in Eupen. Nine suspects, including the prisoner about who it is now, were placed under arrest warrant. The gang is said to have been preparing a new big battle at a value center, a place where banks keep their cash, in the German city of Bochum.

Twelve people were swapped in the buoys, nine in Eupen and three during house searches in France and Brussels, of whom the youngest is 40 years old and the oldest 51 years. Nine of them were ultimately placed by the investigating judge.
