Absolute World Record for Romania
Special performances for the Romanian team from the World Championship of First Championship, held on April 16-19, 2025!
The CSH teams from Timișoara and Eastern Foxes in Ploiești formed the Alliance and finished the contest on the 3rd place at the global level, and the Tehnoz teams from Pitești and Alphatronic from Cluj-Napoca finished the division of which they were part on 1 and 2 places, also setting the world record of the season: the highest score registered in an official match. In the third division, the team from Buzau, Heart of Robots, managed to rank on the 6th place of the division and be an alliance captain.
From the perspective of the prizes won, 4 Romanian teams won the 1st place for a prize in their division, and the CSH team from Timișoara won the 2nd place.
These results were obtained by the Romanian students during the Easter weekend at the Houston World Championship, the United States, attended by 256 teams from over 30 countries. This is the most prestigious and difficult competition for high school students. It is for the first time that all the participating Romanian teams are ranked in the top 10 teams in the division and wins a prize.
The prizes obtained and the performance of the robots are the proof that the investment in education brings results and Romania has a huge potential through the young people of the new generations. The Nation Association through Education organizes this educational program in Romania since 2016 and supports the Romanian students to reach performances like those from this championship. Moreover, the program formed 220 teams in high schools from all over the country, so all students are supported, not just the peaks.

Nation Association through Education It is a non-profit association founded by Dana Războiu, who promotes and supports Stem Education for high school students and their mentors. Since 2016, the Association is a program Delivery Organization Romania for the International Program First Tech Challenge.
