About 600 earthquakes have been measured

About 600 earthquakes have been detected in the earthquake at Reykjanestá, which began at 2:30 pm yesterday, of which six earthquakes are over three in size.
Many earthquakes have occurred in the region since 2021, but since 2023 five earthquakes have occurred in the same area as the activity is now, according to a report from the Icelandic Meteorological Office.
The earthquakes are probably the earthquakes – due to changes in the thriller in the Reykjanes peninsula, in parallel with earthquakes there in recent years.
It is believed that the activity could continue intermittently, but there is no clear evidence of deformation in the area.
There is no indication that the magma movement causes the hryvnia.
The intense was greatest in the beginning, but the first few hours were measured by 50 to 60 earthquakes.
Then the activity slowed down during the day but increased again shortly before midnight – when an earthquake of size 3.5 occurred. After the activity increased again, the earthquakes were only west.
A total of 600 earthquakes have been detected in the hryvnia, of which six have measured over M3 in size. Reports have been received that the earthquakes have been found in the area – including in Grindavík, which is about 12 km east of the activity.
The behavior of the earthquakes so far shows that the activity can dwindle and then suddenly increase again. However, deformation measurements in recent days show no clear changes that would indicate that the magma movement caused the earthquake.
