A young mother is hesitant to release her little ones in the yard: talked about danger
Fear of safety
A young mother living on Reykjavik Street is hesitant to release her little ones alone in the yard.
Recently, the sewer well in the yard was somehow without a lid. But it can be a coincidence.
A much bigger problem – devices for kids playing.
« Skating, otherwise known as the strap, has no curbs and supports. When climbing on it, the child may fall backwards and will not have anything to get into. And when he falls, he falls into a pit down his feet.
The woman said the street has recently been equipped with a great parking lot, where the little ones are completely safe and the equipment is new and comfortable.
But there are so many children in this yard that the children of each swings or climbing stairs come to the line.

The devices broke
Ineta said she was shared with a friend who also had young children.
It turns out that in her yard on Mogiliov Street, near 20 home, children are not only unsafe but also dangerous.
In this site, all equipment is wooden and all damaged.
Administrators who maintain the area are responsible for the maintenance of old equipment.
In the skating steps, the nails are stitched, and the tin on which the children are sitting and skating, leaning down as the canned box open.
« A child can really tear off his clothes while skating, but it is a less trouble than the ability to get injured. Sliding down the little ones, the little ones can cut their feet or seats to the blood. Swing, reminiscent of a board, so that rubber protection is completely rolled away from the board on which children sit. You won’t see it, you can get painful, ”said Ineta’s girlfriend.
It also leads her little ones to another yard, where a new parking lot for the little Klaipeda residents is installed.
More young parents face similar troubles, so some children do not let go of the yards.
Play them to the recreation park or lead to the remote sites.

Every year – new sites
Jolanta Mickevičienė, Head of the Municipal Buildings Administration Department, answered questions that are relevant to residents.
According to her, there are 62 in the city that are maintained by the municipality, which are maintained by the municipality.
Where there are these sites, everyone can find out by the municipal website, a page called « Maps », by clicking on the « playgrounds » link.
Officials have no data on the number of devices that are still standing in yards since the Soviet era or later on the initiative of communities or even private individuals.
At the end of April this year, children in the port city were allowed to play in newly installed playgrounds on Kretinga Street near 81 houses, on Birutės Street near the 15th and Statybininkai Avenue 2 in the yard of the house at Eduardas Balsys Art Gymnasium.
Three more new sites are planned this year.
One of them will appear on Minijos Street near 129 houses and on Mogilov Street in the yard of 13 houses.
The Žardininkų Street Park will also have a large modern parking lot for children and will be installed in the participation budget initiative.
He was considering what to do
By sharing worries, young moms Ineta and Agne were considering who they should report broken devices for children, what they could do for their own and the safety of their neighbors.
J. Mickevičienė explained that there are information boards at the municipal concern, and contain contacts for persons who should report failures.
« Administrators or residential administration community are responsible for the maintenance of old equipment. If the facilities are unattended, the administrative company may apply to the municipality to dismantle these facilities.

A similar topic has recently been discussed on social networks by neighbors of the fishing port quarter when somebody resented in messy children’s devices.
The discussion of the population evolved to a quarrel, which the man who tried to break suggested that the problem be solved in a real way, instead of being resentful in writing on social networks.
« The community starts with our own – not only criticism but also of action. Let’s ask ourselves openly – what we have done to make our environment better? The change begins with small steps and personal responsibility, » wrote a more active discussion.
The voting was rejoiced
Another resident of this neighborhood stated that in the autumn of last year she had submitted a project on a modern children’s playground in the fishing port neighborhood.
It turns out he was rated positively and entered the final hearing.
Then it all depended on the population, all I had to do was vote.
Unfortunately, people were passive, so the project was not approved.
The inhabitants of the fishing port neighborhood could take an example from the neighbors of the Smiltelė eldership who mobilized, voted actively and won.
Their children will enjoy a new, colorful and safe site.
« They believed that every voice is significant and the active civic position leads to change. It is very sad to see that the good idea of indifference remains unrealized. It is not just a missed opportunity to have a beautiful site – it is a sign that we have to change our attitude. Civic responsibility is not just criticism or expectations. It’s an action. This is participation. This is a vote. This is a community concern. Being part of the community means acting together, deciding together and creating together. So if we want to have a beautiful environment, a comfortable infrastructure and a living area, we all have to contribute – not to watch but act. I believe that this experience will be a lesson and an incentive for us to be more active in the future. Thanks to everyone who supported the project and I invite everyone else to join the next time, because each of our move is creating a change, ”the resident addressed.
Former elder, now a member of the city council Saulius Liekis reminded of the participation budget mentioned by J. Mickevičienė, whose money distribution is decided by the residents of Klaipeda.
The city people offer ideas every year. At the same time, the politician questioned whether such a way to improve his living environment would not be abolished.
