Croatian national teammate in the water, 18-year-old Matthew Nevešćaninon Thursday he achieved a historic result in placement in the finals of the competition for the World Cup in the Mexican Guadalajara, in the discipline of jumps from the board (3m).
The Nevešćanin won 369.60 points in qualifying, which was the 14th result of qualifications. Twelve jumpers entered the finals, but because of the restrictions on two representatives from each country, one Chinese and one Mexican jumper dropped, who were in front of the Croatian national team, but were worse than two of their compatriots. Matthew Nevešćanin will perform in the finals on Saturday to Sunday by Central European time, and the beginning is scheduled for 1.32 hours.
The Croatian national team is the second youngest competitor in the finals. Younger than him is only a 17-year-old Mexican David Gabriel Vazquez.
