The Stena Nordica ferry was about to enter the Rosslare port in Wexford, Ireland, when the body of 39-year-old Mary Cash was revealed in one of the bathrooms. The news of her death caused a lot of confusion on board and led to a fight, which forced the captain of the ship to call to the police port.

Initially, it was suspected that the woman was killed. Now, however, it is already known about the circumstances of her death a bit more. As it turns out, Mary sailed with her husband Ned and other relatives to Ireland, to bury her father -in -law Martin Cash in his homeland. The family lives in London every day, but the last will of the 75-year-old was to rest in their real home. On Tuesday, February 25, the family set off on a journey to Ireland.
It is still unknown exactly what happened on the ferry. The Irish police are constantly investigating the case. It is known, however, that the participation of third parties was excluded. Initially, one man of a well -known Mary was arrested, but he was already released from custody. An autopsy of the 39-year-old was carried out, but its results were not made public due to the ongoing investigation.

– There is a shock and sadness in Rosslare because of what happened on board Stena Nordica. At this stage, the details are the subject of an investigation, the result of which we will know in a timely manner. Regardless of this, in the center of all this there is a woman who lost her life and the community thoughts are here with her family – said the local councilor Ger Carthy, who participated in action on the spot as an ambulance rescuer at the National Ambulance Service.
Due to the sudden death of Mary, the funeral of her father -in -law was moved.
