« Fakt » found a woman who appeared on a controversial recording. – I have been living with my husband in Poland for ten years. Our daughters were born here. One is four years old and the other two. I live in Poland, I work, pay taxes and I bought a flat. I did not expect such a wave of hate to roll – Liudmyla told us.
The woman runs a gastronomic business in one of the cities of Lower Silesia. She confirmed that her short recording about passports and 800 plus was a joke.
– I’m not a person who uses social. This recording was a reaction to what the hater wrote. I did it under the influence of impulse. I regret that I published this video and got into the discussion. For my part, I also made a mistake that I started to comment on it. I published a video in which I apologize if I offended someone or offended. For my part, there was no aggression against Poles. If I behaved like that, I wouldn’t live so many years in Poland – she explained.

The attempt to mulch stereotypes about Ukrainians in Poland turned into a wave of hate. Mrs. Liudmyla began to receive more and more hateful comments (mainly from anonymous Internet users) hitting her and her family.
« Banderowiec! Poles have enough of you, won! », « You will never be at home », « You are stupid and a trip to Ukraine » – these are only part of the negative messages in which threats and curses were falling.
– In Google I closed the page, I got everything on Facebook. People call my private phone. One of them wrote to me: « S ** o Ukrainian, take puppies and won ». How can you?! There were threats regarding the burning of food truck. There were also « sz *** for Ukrainian ». One of the gentlemen wrote: « Give your daughters to the route because they are suitable. » It was a shock for me. Why do children mix in it? I did not expect such a wave of hate – explained Mrs. Liudmyla.

The Ukrainian woman is even more hurting that she has Polish roots. – My grandmother was Polish. I was and I am positive about Poles – she added.
Where did she then have seven passports she showed to the camera? – In Ukraine it is so that you can have two passports: one biometric and one ordinary. In the film I show my two passports and two husbands. Two are an older daughter, including one is already invalid. One belongs to the younger daughter – she replied.
Mrs. Liudmyla also showed a passport in another video in which she allegedly gets a car only because it is from Ukraine. She told us that it was also a joke and a video she recorded how she was on the site on a periodic review. The Ukrainian woman reported the case to the police and asked the « Never Again » Association for help.
The subject 800 plus for Ukrainians in Poland was also included in the presidential campaign. Ko Rafał Trzaskowski’s candidate proposed to pay benefits only to those Ukrainians who work in Poland and pay taxes here. The Ukrainian community in Poland recognized such a promise as an attempt to antagonize both nations.
According to the CBOS survey of February, as much as 38 percent Poles surveyed replied that they did not like Ukrainians, and only 30 percent declare their sympathy. Those who like Ukrainians are 10 percentage points. less than a year ago and by as much as 21 percentage points less than in 2023.
