In 2023, the novel suffered a serious traumatic brain injury from a grenade explosion. « He said he got a severe blow, often suffered from dizziness, » he said.
He was then transferred to an administrative position, where, according to the military, he became more and more isolated.
Colleagues describe it as a closed, provocative and changing. One calls him a hermit, the other says that he constantly changed his mind « and always wanted to argue. »

Roman D. will first appear in court in early July.
