« A trick » set up in Cotroceni
Controversies after President Nicușor Dan scheduled at the Cotroceni Palace on Wednesday, « informal consultations » with parliamentary political parties and formations, scheduled to take place over 10 hours.
According to the Presidential Administration, pursuant to the provisions of art. 80 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania, the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, invited, at the Cotroceni Palace, the representatives of the political parties and formations of the Romanian Parliament, for informal consultations regarding the economic and political situation of the country.
Art. 80 para. (2) of the Constitution of Romania stipulates that « the President of Romania watches to respect the Constitution and to the good functioning of the public authorities. For this purpose, the president exercises the function of mediation between the state powers, as well as between the state and the society ».

For this he fired by art 80 of the Constitution that reflects the role of mediator of the president between the state powers (only here no one is in conflict/ he does not mediate between powers in this case) or between state and society (society does not exist in this case).
I mention that in the Constitution there is only one variant of consultations – those for the designation of the prime minister, used by all the presidents of Romania, on art 85 and 103.
The informal, non -transparent consultations do not exist in the Constitution, which is the fundamental law of the Romanian state.
Ps. For the consultation of the government there is an art separately in the Constitution (art 86). But Mucușor does not consult the Government, he invented the informal consultation of the Parliament ”.
