A tragic fire in the block. A 74-year-old woman is dead
As the services informed, firefighting activities ended before 6:00 in the morning. After thoroughly securing the building, evacuated tenants could return to their apartments. The causes of the fire are not yet known.
Częstochowa. Block fire in a millennium
The incident occurred around 2:00 am. As reported by RMF FM reporter Anna Kraczek, The fire appeared in the premises on the ground floor of one of the blocks. The rapidly spreading smoke filled the staircasewhich forced the immediate evacuation of the inhabitants of the building. Firefighters took rescue operations immediately after arriving at the place.
Due to the very high smoke, the emergency services decided to evacuate about 50 people from the entire building. The activities were carried out in difficult conditions – the night, limited visibility and presence of smoke significantly hindered the work of rescuers.

In the apartment where the fire broke out, Rescuers found the body of a 74-year-old woman. Unfortunately, despite the quick action, she could not be saved. Seven other people – including three children – were transported to hospitals. This Four adults and three minors who were poisoned with smoke or have other injuries requiring hospitalization.
