And in 2025, a new specific discipline was included in our lives: trampology. Currently, Ukrainians are studying the inner world of the 47th President of the United States, his life path, his habits and weaknesses, his public statements and even gesturing.

Almost every active user of social networks becomes an expert from Donald Trump. Every day, thousands of commentators think about what to expect from the US leader and how to treat Trump to keep Ukraine.

“Believers”

For this part of Internet experts, Donald Trump has been and remains a great figure of today-a heroic fighter with the left tyranny and a defender of true freedom.

Any ambiguous act of the 47th President of « Believers » find a decent explanation and justification. At the same time, they tend to see in Trump’s activities the implementation of certain intricate plans and complex multi -papers, which is not able to evaluate the traditional observer.

A few months ago, the belief in the new US president and his wonderful abilities was widespread among our fellow citizens. 54% of Ukrainians considered Trump’s arrival. Now « believers » are transformed into a small sect for obvious reasons.

However, a small Donald Trump fan club will be preserved in Ukraine anyway: let what the American leader does, and let his decision affect our country.

Unlike « believers » other groups of trampologists are not inclined to idealize the current US President. But each of them has its own vision of Donald Trump – and its own recipe for interaction with the owner of the White House.

“Manipulators”

They pay special attention to the negative psychological features of President Trump: his narcissism, self -centeredness, emotional instability. « Manipulators » are convinced that by playing competently in these features, you can benefit from Ukraine and the Ukrainian business.

The cherished dream of « manipulators » is to push the excessive ego of Donald Trump with the same exorbitant ego of Vladimir Putin. At the end of last year, this strategy seemed optimal for Kiev. The « manipulators » offered to flatter the new owner of the White House, to ignite his vanity and to bring the 47th president to the idea that, having made concessions to the Kremlin, he will stop looking a strong leader.

Unfortunately, the first months of Donald Trump’s presidency demonstrated that while the Russians manipulate his emotions more successfully than Ukrainians. Like the « manipulators », they believe that Donald Trump’s personal characteristics can and should be put in Ukraine. But unlike « manipulators », they offer not the emotions of the American leader, but his ration.

For the « deals », Trump is first and foremost a businessman who seeks benefits. And with him you need to communicate with a businessman: to offer attractive agreements that will be profitable both Washington and Kiev. Then Ukraine will be able to count on the support of the new US administration in confrontation with the Russian Federation.

It was among the domestic « businessmen » that was born The idea of ​​a deposit on rare earth metals – in exchange for the continuation of US military assistance.

But trying to put this approach into practice, Ukrainians encountered at least two serious obstacles. How to appeal to mutual benefit if Trump businessman considers it advantageous for himself to understand Putin’s Russia? And how to talk about mutual benefit if Trump businessman prefers zero-sum game and sees his own benefit in robbery and clogging of Ukraine?

These questions have not been found in Kiev yet.

“Tambers”

Unlike « manipulators » and « dealers », they do not see the opportunity to pick up the key to Donald Trump himself. From the point of view of the « tamers », our country will only win if Trump’s voluntarism can be restricted. Therefore, it is necessary to look for approaches not to the 47th President of the United States, but to those who are potentially capable of influence.

American elites. American media. American civil society. Sympathians of Ukraine and consistent opponents of Russia in the ranks of the Republican Party. Other possible lobbyists whose opinion Trump will be forced to count.

However, in 2025, President Trump was less dependent on the Republican establishment and more free in his actions.

According to « skeptics », it is necessary to assume that in the near future America Trump will be lost for Kiev as a strategic partner.

Accordingly, « skeptics » urge to focus not on preserving US support, but on an accelerated search for possible alternatives. Not on attempts to talk to New America:, but on Forced dialogue with old Europe. Too, Donald Trump’s current policy poses threats not only to Ukraine but also European security.

However, even the most consistent of « skeptics » recognize that now Europe’s military opportunities do not compare with the US. And that Kiev will be very difficult without overseas care.

Probably, by the end of 2025, it will be clear which of the following techniques justified themselves and which – not. But so far, each of us is free to choose the school of trampology that impresses personally.
