The most reaction was caused by a video of a man, published in the evening of March 27. 15 minutes LT informs that he had as many as 206 thousand. views, 2.6 thous. reaction, 1.3 thousand shares and 320 comments. It said that « this could be the beginning » and Lithuania provokes war and tries to engage in it very much. « This provocation of Lithuania will probably succeed, » said the man.
Journalists overthrew the conspiracy theories of Internet users
All these conspiracy theories turned out to be sucked out of the finger. Lithuanian journalists indicate that during the action a completely different fragment of the gas pipeline was disconnected than the commentators indicate. 15 minutes LT reports that on March 26 Amber Grid closed the pipeline after a search operation carried out by soldiers and armored personnel transporter. This was done for safety reasons. The next day, the operator announced that he temporarily closed the 22-kilometer section of the Podbrodzie-Visaginas gas pipeline, which provides gas to recipients in Visaginas and Švenčionėliai.
