A policeman after service detained a drunk 76-year-old who wanted to manage
Now he is punishable by up to 3 years in prison, a court ban on driving, loss of driving license and a high fine.
Stopping in the act
Policeman, sergeant Wojciech Holewski, being after service, noticed a man who finished beer and got into the car. The situation took place in Gołębiewo Wielkie, just after 17:00. The officer reacted immediately, stopping the vehicle after driving a dozen or so meters. After introducing and providing the legal basis, he prevented the driver from further driving.
Intervention and consequences
After calling a police patrol, officers checked the driver’s sobriety, which confirmed the presence of alcohol in the body. The man was taken to a police station, where his driving license was detained. Now he will be responsible for driving for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sergeant Wojciech Holewski, working in a patrol and intervention cell, is well aware of the risks associated with driving after alcohol.
