A plane from Warsaw to Bilbao had to change the route through the passenger
This information was provided by the Spanish service « El Correo ». A flight from Warsaw, which was to land in Bilbao on Sunday, April 20 in the morning, was redirected to Frankfurt because of the passenger’s aggressive attitude. A person who, according to the testimonies of other travelers, was under the influence of alcohol, was detained by several German policemen. In such cases, the protocol consists in removing the passenger to avoid possible injuries or damage to other people.

The Spanish service reports that this plane was Airbus 321 with the HA-LXC registration number and a capacity of 220 passengers. He served the Warsaw-Bilbao route of the Wizzair in Hungarian. « The flight was redirected because of the passenger’s restless behavior on board, » confirmed the company’s spokesman, quoted by El Correo.

The machine flew out of the Polish capital a few minutes after six in the morning. Landing in Bilbao is scheduled for 09.25. However, Airbus 321 landed in Germany at 07.57. He started on the road to Spain a few minutes after 11. According to the website, the incident also influenced the return flight, which flew away with an hour and forty -minute delay.
Once again, the passenger causes trouble on the plane
« El Correo » reminds that this is not the first time a similar situation took place during a flight to Bilbao. Last year, several police officers had to convince the resistant passenger to leave the plane deck, which was to start to « La Paloma » from Gran Canaria.
In 2022, however, Guardia Civil threw three drunk British before the start. The machine flew from Bilbao to Germany. There was also a case of six Italian citizens who were fined in May 2024 after aggressive behavior during a flight between Milan and La Paloma. The punished, aged 25 to 50, then refused to follow the commands of the commander and crew.
