A new generation of young journalists have graduated the TV Pixel Media Center – angle – see the world as it is!

Emotion, ambition and hope for the future of television journalism. These are the words that defined the graduation ceremony of the Pixel Media Center television school, carried out within the Republican Center for Children and Youth. Dozens of children and young people passionate about journalism have successfully concluded the training, now being prepared to step into the world of television.

« It is a generation that surprised us with the courage, creativity and thirst for learning. There are children who not only know how to speak in front of the room, but I know how to tell a story that matters. We thank the parents, but especially for them, for perseverance and involvement, » said Stela Petrușca, Deputy Director of Artico.

During one year of studies, quite intense period, the students learned from media professionals: Natalia Catan and Ion Railean, each bringing in front of the students authentic lessons from the backdrops of television journalism.

« They had extraordinary results, especially on the practical side. They managed to build reports, work in the team, manage interviews in real conditions and improvise when it was necessary – just as in professional newsrooms. Some of them, honestly, could enter a TV station, » said journalist Ion Railean, mentor.

For her part, Natalia Catan, known for her activity in television, stressed the maturity and desire to involve young people and children.

« We have not only taught communication techniques, but we tried to instill a journalistic attitude: to be curious, to ask questions, to have a critical spirit. I am glad to see so many young people who not only understand the responsibility of the press, but they want to become the voice of their generation, » concluded Natali Catan, mentor.

Pixel Media Center graduates shared the emotions and lessons learned during the study year 2024-2025. « For me, Pixel Media Center was the place where I learned how to trust my voice. Now I know I want to be a reporter, » says Lavinia, the beneficiary of the TV Pixel Media Center.

« I liked that we had the freedom to think and propose my own reports. I discovered that I like to be behind the room, to build the story. » – Matthew, 8 years old.

« I learned to control my emotions and convey the clear message. Now I’m not afraid to speak in public. » – Alexandrina.

Representatives Pixel Media Center Artico are already announcing plans for a new autumn edition, with unique TV formats and practical workshops along with consecrated mentors and journalists.
