A new fire truck and a great slip -up. Video is a hit on the web
Many guests came to the 185th anniversary of the TSO Padew Padew Narodowa-reports hej.mielec.pl. Politicians appeared – from parliamentarians to representatives of local authorities. There were also volunteer firefighters and a local community.
It all started with a mass, and then a solemn appeal took place. MP Krystyna Skowrońska from the Civic Coalition also took the floor. According to the regional service, the new Scania car was named in her honor – « Krynia ».
This was financed from several sources: 810 thousand PLN donated by the Marshal’s Office as part of European funds, PLN 225,000 was added by the State Fire Service, another PLN 225,000 was donated by the Board of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of the Republic of Poland in Warsaw, and PLN 300,000 came from the budget of the Padew National Commune.

The time has come for a symbolic « dedication » of a new vehicle. A bottle of champagne attached on a string was used for this.
The recording shows that she first tried to break her into a car, but she failed. She only raised her hands in a gesture of surrender. Then one of the firefighters tried – also to no avail.

The recording quickly became a hit on the web. They were made available on many platforms – Facebook, Tiktoku and Instagram.
Internet users willingly commented on the video. Some people see bad characters in it. « This is a bad superstition … » – we read in one of the comments. « Mrs. Bad luck brought, » adds another Internet user. « This is probably the best car in the Mielec poviat, even comparing with those from PSP » – wrote another commentators.
It is worth mentioning that the superstition associated with breaking the bottle (usually champagne) by a new vehicle – usually a ship, but more and more often also a train, plane or just a fire truck. If the bottle does not break down, it is considered a bad sign – it can bring unlucky to a new vehicle, its crew or future « missions ». Where did this superstition come from? Tradition comes from the launching ceremony. The breakdown of the bottle was to symbolically « give away » a ship for the care of the sea gods and ensure that he would be prosperous. If the bottle did not break, it was interpreted as a lack of favorable fate.
Importantly, there is no rational evidence of a relationship between a non -boring bottle and real events.
