British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also visited the Innovation Center and the Armed Forces Museum, where he was received by Defense Minister Pirro Vengu and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Generals Arben Kingji. Minister Veng and Prime Minister Starmer saw the premises of this complex, where they also met with Albanian and British military.
Minister Vengu expressed his pleasure to host this innovative complex of the United Kingdom Government and to honor the joint cooperation between the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom and the Armed Forces of Albania as allies in NATO and not only in NATO but also within the Western Balkans.
« We have a common stance on the threats we are facing and we are increasingly building common capacities and today, under the auspices and leadership of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the Prime Minister of Albania, we signed an important agreement with the ambition to cooperate even more strongly in the military industry and in innovation, »-Ving said. For his part, British Prime Minister Starmer thanked the Albanian military working with those British in the Interflex Mission to train Ukrainian troops.
