There is still no sidewalk on Družstevnícka Street. The busy road II/564 forms a link between Tlmače – Levice – Štúrovo. Its section is also used by truck drivers to Šiah if the border crossing.

The city has been preparing the construction of a kilometer long pavement for several years. He should lead next to the planned Biedronka store and the upcoming roundabout at Vinohrady.

The fields were fields, now new buildings are growing

« For several generations, it has been growing in Vinohrady in Levice without being connected to the city, a polyclinic and the like, » says Lóránt Túri, who lives on Slnečnicova Street. The new grocery shopping center and sports grounds are within reach. But when he wants to walk, he has to walk on the main road. He says it is also used by his neighbors with strollers. On the road busy, pedestrians risk, trucks avoid the grass.

A safe pedestrian path is also missing from his work colleagues who go from prefabs to the cottage area.

In the past, he has repeatedly pointed out the non -existent sidewalk in Družstevnícka through the legacy for the mayor. He also added photos of the old pavement, which is only on the street part, closer to the polyclinic, and is damaged.

In the outskirts of the northwest part of Levice, development is growing. This was allowed by changes in the zoning plan. Where were the fields once, they are increasing new buildings and streets. New family houses are also directly on Družstevnícka Street.

The path ends at the stop

The buses have a stop in front of the facility for seniors where Tatranská Street is powered. The pavement from the health center also ends here. There is also a pedestrian crossing where there has been a serious accident in the past.

In November 2021, the District Office in Levice demanded better securing this passage, when the city started collecting statements on the project documentation for the construction procedure of the new paved pavement. The project documentation was from 2019, the next year the decree changed. The city was therefore supposed to adjust the marking and also the lighting of the pavement to « the passage at the bus stop intensively ».

On Družstevnícka Street there is a new section of the interlocking pavement in the length of 1088.91 meters from the bus stop at the intersection with Tatranská Street to the intersection with St. Ján Street.
