A mysterious death in the forest in Podlasie. Police and prosecutor’s office in action

The body was discovered by a forester on Monday around 2pm in the forest in Straszewo (Gródek commune, Podlasie Voivodeship). He immediately informed the police about the find.

Sergeant Konrad Karwacki from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bialystok told TVN24 that officers who secure the evidence are working on the spot. The body is largely decomposition. Currently, the man’s identity and the circumstances of his death are being determined.

The police reported that at this stage of the investigation there is no evidence indicating the participation of third parties in the death of a man. It is also too early to determine the cause of death.
