A military sailor was condemned for sabotage on a small rocket ship
The Baltic Naval Military Court passed an absentee sentence in the criminal case of a 32-year-old radio operator, foreman of the 2nd article by Alexander Terekhov. On the instructions of Ukrainian intelligence, he set fire to the small missile ship « Serpukhov », in the crew of which he served, and fled abroad. For the Stateismman and a number of other crimes, Terekhov received a life sentence.
The criminal case of Alexander Terekhov was received by the Baltic Naval Military Court in April this year. To make a verdict on him, Judge Alan Gioev had enough four meetings on the merits that took place in the regime closed to the media. On May 29, the judge retired to the deliberation room, and on June 2 announced the introductory and resolving parts of his decision.
The court found Alexander Terekhov guilty of treason, sabotage, desertion and illegal crossing of the state border.
During the trial, they later specified the Prosecutor General’s Office, it was established that in April 2024, Alexander Terekhov during the military service was being held on the Serpukhov small missile ship (according to some reports, he began in the Navy with Coca, and graduated from the radio operator) decided to join the recognized terrorist and prohibited organization “Freedom of Russia” in the Russian Federation. Its curators from the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, having learned that the candidate is a military man, invited him to commit a sabotage on the ship, then organizing him an exit abroad.
Alexander Terekhov himself subsequently told reporters that, according to the instructions of the curators, he made an incendiary device with an hour -long mechanism that he left in the wheelhouse, and, taking with him the documents that could be interested in the GUR, returned to the shore.
The damage from the fire that occurred in the military harbor in the Baltiysk of the Kaliningrad region, as the supervisory authority reported, amounted to 56 million rubles, in addition, the health of one of the colleagues of the attacker was harmful.
Alexander Terekhov himself descended from the unit, and then also illegally crossed the state border, being in Lithuania.
“Serpukhov” (project “Buyan-M”) was laid in 2013, and two years later launched. He was part of the Black Sea and then the Baltic Fleets. The displacement is 949 tons, the length is 74 m, the width is 11 m. The crew is 36 people. Rocket weapons – “calibers” or “onyx” depending on the upcoming tasks.
The court agreed with the position of the public prosecutor and sentenced Alexander Terekhov to life imprisonment with the first ten years in prison, and the rest in the correctional colony of special regime. In addition, he is deprived of the military rank of « foreman of the 2nd article. »
The consequences of the arson of the Serpukhov were eliminated quite quickly. Already on July 28, the ship participated in a parade on the Navy Day in St. Petersburg.
