A massive attack on Tabriz. Explosions at the city airport
Night raids on Iran’s territory do not stop. Israel, who previously announced the suspension of air operations after carrying out over 300 raids, resumed military operations. The latest fire was touched by Tabriz – the historical capital of Persia and currently one of the largest cities of the country. The reports from the Iranian media suggest that the purpose of the attack was the city airport, and the result of the explosion was suffered by both the military and representatives of the authorities.
Israel bombed Tabriz
Just a few hours after the official announcement of the Israeli army about the end of the operation, there was an unexpected escalation. Israeli aircraft started again and hit targets in Tabriz – a strategic point on the map of Iran. The Iranian Press Agency Fars has announced explosions near the city airport.
Around noon, state television reported that « a few minutes ago new explosions were heard in Eastern Azerbaijan. » The inhabitants of Tabriz report about violent shocks and audible detonations in various parts of the city.
Attack on Iranian cities
In addition to Tabriz, the Israeli air force also attacked other strategic points. In the morning Tehran – the capital of Iran – as well as the Nuclear Center in Natanz, located in the province of Isfahan was fired. The cities of Loristan and Kermanszah were also the goal. According to the Iranian tape agency, a total of ten locations in the region touched the impact, causing the death of at least three people.
Official sources in Iran do not reveal the full scale of damage, but the scale of attacks indicates the intensification of tensions between the two countries. Military experts pay attention to the surprising moment of the return of Israeli forces to act, which may mean a change in tactics or a response to new intelligence.
