An ordinary walk in the woods around Choroszcz turned into a terrifying experience. In a place where many are looking for calmness and contact with nature, the walkers made a shocking discovery – there were five dead rabbits in the sack. The police are dealt with.

It is not known at the moment whether the rabbits died of natural reasons, whether they fell victim to deliberate action. This is another shocking find in the forest recently. A shocking event took place near the town of Choroszcz, in the Podlasie Voivodship. People walking in the woods in the area of the historic place of loss – the gallows monument – were looking for a lost dog. However, during the search, they came across something that would remain in their memory for a long time. In the plastic commercial, abandoned among the trees, there were the corpse of five small rabbits.
Information about the find was the first to publicize the Kocia Ostoja Foundation. In the moving entry published on Facebook, they report:
We do not know what happened, whether the bunnies were murdered or died earlier and were dumped like garbage into the forest. The case was reported to the police, we know that the perpetrator is rarely managed, but we hope that this time it will succeed.
The police in Bialystok confirm: proceedings were initiated
The case is currently dealing with the police in Choroszcz. The editors of « Fakt » asked the services to comment. In response, we received the official confirmation of the notification:
I confirm that we have received a report about finding dead rabbits in a commercial in the forest, in the area of Choroszcz. In this case, activities are carried out towards animal abuse (Article 35 (1) of the Animal Protection Act). At the moment, this is all the information I can provide to you.
