Galeria security guards made a macabre discovery on Monday evening, June 9. They alerted the services immediately. The police and the emergency medical team arrived. It was too late to rescue. The doctor stated the death of a man. The police will now be explained by the police.
The police are looking for the answer to the question, what happened?
The uniforms inspected the place of the incident. Part of the sanitary zone was excluded from their activities. All the rest of the shopping center operated unchanged.
The body of the deceased was secured and taken to the Department of Forensic Medicine, where an autopsy will be carried out, which will help answer the question about the cause of the man’s death. Initially, investigators have ruled out the activities of third parties.
The identity of the deceased is still being determined. The police reported that they interrogated witnesses and were conducting further actions. The Warsaw Śródmieście-Północ District Prosecutor’s Office joined the case.
Another death in golden terraces
It is not the first time a tragic accident in gold terraces. Last year, on February 14, in one of the toilets, an employee of a cleaning company found an unconscious man. His life could not be saved.
On the other hand, in 2021, only a few days apart, two people decided to jump from the highest, fourth floor of this shopping center and died on the spot. On October 28, a 54-year-old man was killed, and a 46-year-old woman on November 2. Now in the hall of the center there are mesh protecting the patio against jumping from a height.
