However, a friend of the 29-year-old said as a witness at today’s trial and emphasized that the man was eating with her near the Pizza park. After that, they would have sat on a bench near the Brigittenau swimming pool. Suddenly young Chechens walked past them. The 29-year-old spoke to them and went briefly. When the shots fell, he came back and said: « We should move away, » said the young woman. « Then we went to a cafe. » The two then observed the police operation.

Shooting appraiser Wieser stated that the murder weapon must have been a Walther P5, a weapon that has the fire sleeves on the left. The perpetrator shot six times. In addition, further bullet holes were discovered at a parking space that suggests that two more times were shot there. Since no sleeves had been found, it could be possible that the weapon was fired from a car. The expert could not say whether it was the same perpetrator or a second suspect.
