A gigantic fine for exceeding the speed in built -up areas
On Saturday, police detained a 36-year-old Volkswagen driver, who in the Kolno commune exceeded the permissible speed by 61 km/h. The man drove at a speed of 111 km/HW where a limit of 50 km/h applies. The uniforms detained his driving license and imposed 14 penalty points.

When checking in police systems It turned out that a resident of the Masovian Voivodeship did not first exceed the speed. In connection with the next offense in the last two years, the man has been punished with a fine of PLN 4,000, which is twice as high as standard.
Failure to adapt speed to designated limits and road conditions is the main cause of road accidents with a fatal effect. The police appeal to drivers to follow the permitted speed limits and to be particularly careful, especially in the area of pedestrian crossings, bicycle rides and intersections.
