A frustrated bullies who intimidate girls who enter politics

Sara Mila is one of the May 11th surprises. The 29-year-old Socialist Party candidate in Elbasan district was the most voted among all the Socialists in the open lists. But it was also targeted by attacks, where analyst Andy Bushati named a « buffalo » last night.

Invited to the show « Unexposed », she exploded with a heavy vocabulary against her. « How many minutes did we spend on Jorida? Do you find it normal to talk about Jorida and not talk about Sara Milan? These are the true elections of this country. A buffalo got twice Jorida’s votes in a country that has a quarter of Tirana. Bushati said among other things.

Sara Mila, in a public reaction, describes Bushati as rapists of girls entering politics. She writes that Bushati in his strict denomination, he releases poison mixed with personal frustrations that he does not even understand from where he comes from. ‘‘This language of hatred, this media bullshit, must end. After 10 days where portals and television studios have muddled me, family and everything I represent, one of them crossed the red line. Just as I expected it.
Not the line of the usual mud, for those old loser accusations, I don’t even tire myself. But this time there was what I was afraid of most: a public, not political but personal lynching. As a girl, as a wife, as a mother.

This public abuser has a name: Andy Bushati. In his struggle, he releases poison mixed with personal frustrations that he does not even understand from where he comes from. They hide them after the arrogance of a pseudointelctal seeking the attention it has never had. Today, unfortunately, he won. That’s because it touched something that is bigger than me: my worry about girls who dare to enter politics.

I have asked myself and assured that against what I am, there is no and that I intimidate me. But the biggest question is: How much should it be like that? Even how long do girls have to chew the mud that casts the DNA? Even how many studios should they be stripped of dignity to make them « viral » this way? How many teenagers should kill themselves because of this institutionalized bullism? Even how many girls’ dreams need to be silent in silence so that they do not become the object of comparison, appreciation, ridicule, shame? I have chosen why I am in politics: not to deal with the DNA. But to end the DNA. For girls who today follow me and I know you are a lot, I want to tell you:

Don’t let any Andy sprinkle you. None to reduce the rhythm. No one make you feel less than you are. No one dares to treat you as a body, as an object, as a comparison package. For the girls with whom the parliament left or right tomorrow I have a call: this language hate, this media bullshit, must end. Words that destroy, can no longer be called thought. The law must prohibit them. Not just morality. And the law, the citizens have entrusted us to do it.

For my daughter: When you grow up and read these traces of poison that remain online, you want to know: Mom didn’t. Mom was not scared. And didn’t bow. When your time comes, I know that the DNA is only shadows of the past: people without influence, no ideal, no compass. I am a girl, I am 29, and I am in politics to prove that the struggle for dignity is done with dignity. And since as a man he did not solve anything, I will do this work as a woman. And you know what is going on is a woman a job. And you and you know well so you are afraid of « buffalo ».
