A fraction of a second from the tragedy! Skoda driver could cause a drama
On Saturday, February 22, on Wyszyńskiego Street in Zielona Góra, the Skoda driver, bypassing the standing vehicle, almost caused an accident. The pedestrian, which passed through the pedestrian crossing, avoided hitting by seconds. Policemen received a report about the event from employees of the Municipal Communication Plant, who witnessed the whole incident.
Police reaction: Application to the court instead of a mandate
Policemen from Zielona Góra, after analyzing the monitoring recording, decided to withdraw from punishing the driver with a ticket. Instead, they sent a request to be punished to court. The driver of the vehicle, a 50-year-old resident of Zielona Góra, confessed to rush and late noticing a pedestrian. His violation of the regulations was so serious that the officers also decided to stop his driving license.
