A former Minister of Justice does not believe that the decision of the CCR is coincidence

Titus Corlățean, former PSD Minister of Justice, does not believe that the CCR decision is a coincidence. Corlățean supports the need for transparency and hopes that ANI will not change the form too

« I believe in the need for transparency, especially in the case of those chosen or designated in public positions and dignities, » writes the former minister in a Facebook post.

« The statements of wealth of the dignitaries and the decision of the Constitutional Court. I was really surprised by today’s decision of the Constitutional Court. I never had any difficulty in formulating the declaration of wealth, as it results from the Romanian legislation in force.

A much more rigorous and even compelling Romanian model statement than the models used by many other European countries, old democrats … My wife is a teacher and speech therapist at a special school in Bucharest, she works with children with special needs. We did not have and we have no business ”, says Titus Corlățean.

« I believe in the need for transparency, especially in the case of those chosen or designated in public office. accidental to adopt this decision to be clear, ”concludes Corlățean.

The Constitutional Court on Thursday decided that the statements of wealth and interests will no longer be published on the website of the National Integrity Agency, nor on the online pages of other public institutions, and these statements no longer have to include the revenues and goods of the spouses and children.
