Information about the knife attack at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital in Krakow on Tuesday, April 29 she shook the media. According to previous findings, the attacker around 10.30, during the visit, he invaded the office and attacked Dr. Tomasz. Protection intervened quickly and the police were called.

Doctor Tomasz with severe abdominal, chest, upper and lower limbs went to the operating theater. The fight for his life lasted two hours. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of his colleagues, the doctor died.
– One of the doctors died while performing official duties. This is what you have to call it – said the director of the University Hospital in Krakow organized on Tuesday, on April 29, Marcin Jędrychowski. There were great emotions in his voice.
The manager of the operating theater to the journalist’s words: « I do not ask what it is like to save the life of a colleague, » he answered with a clear stir: « Please do not ask ».
« The hospital will no longer be the same for me, » the head of the facility added in a breaking voice. « We will be terribly missing, » he admitted.
The police stopped the attacker. The theme of the attack remains unknown for now
Police officers quickly appeared on the spot, overpowered and stopped the attacker. – He was very stimulated when security intervened. When the police arrived, he calmed down and carried out orders – said during a press conference to Piotr Szcziech, a press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Krakow.
The officers are still working at the scene. They secure traces, collect and analyze evidence. At the moment, it is not known what the motif of the man’s action was or whether he was previously known to the police. – According to previous information, he was alone – revealed comm.
