A case of illegal gambling exercise is hit, two arrested
A case of illegal gambling exercise has been hit in Korça.
Police reported that during the police operation codenamed « Slot Machine » a case of illegally carried out gambling was hit through cars, in the premises available for the activity.
« The citizens were arrested in flagrance: Th. S., 53 years old, resident in Korça, for the offenses of » Organizing unlawful lottery « and » making available the premises for unlawful games « ; employed at the bar where the cars were installed) ”, police said.
According to police, DM, 50 years old, resident in Korça, was declared wanted for the offenses of « Illegal Employment », « Hiding Income », « Failure to pay taxes and taxes »,
« Organizing unlawful lottery » and « making available the premises for unlawful games ».
Police said that « these citizens, in cooperation with each other, were caught in flagrance while organizing gambling by cars, contrary to the law. »
The quality of the material test seized 10 gambling machines and 3 mobile phones.
Procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction for further action.
