A car entered people in Germany

Several people were injured by a car that entered the pedestrians in the city of Stuttgart in southern Germany, police announced on its X account on Friday.

According to the tabloid ‘Bild’, the events took place around 5:50 pm (15:50 GMT) at a crowded intersection in the city center, where a Mercedes Class G hit several passers -by crossing the street.

The police did not specify whether it was an accident or a possible terrorist attack, according to the quoted source, who said that several people were seriously injured. ‘We are investigating in all directions’, said a spokesman ‘Bild’.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested and is interrogated by the authorities. Traffic in the incident area has been blocked.
