A black car headed for protesters in Belgrade, has been injured

There have been incidents with protesters, since four and a half months ago, students started blockades in Belgrade and other cities because of the collapse of the visor of the railway station in Novi Sad, connected by students and other Serbs with deep corruption and poor management. The last of these incidents came before a countermithing, convened by President Alexander Vucic (who was at a work lunch with his French parcel in Paris today) for this Saturday.

Waiting for the counter

The government claims that all the students’ requests have been fulfilled by calling them to open their faculties. Students say they are not and that they continue with the blockades. University teachers, educators, farmers, lawyers, actors and others, all behind the students’ requests.

But for counter -mitting, Vucic also collects young Serbs, including representatives of the so -called students who want to study (supported by those close to power figures), some of whom lifted camp in the center of the Serbian capital. Vucic claims that on Saturday he will also announce his requests to the demonstration, which he defines as a national movement, and today he stated that his greatest desire is to return students to the academic process.

Following a meeting in Paris, Macron said he believed in Serbia’s ability to « find a way to dialogue again » and that he hoped the future government would continue with the expected reforms and give good economic results. Vucic announced a nomination for a new prime minister this week after the current, Milos Vuchevic, resigned in the middle of a student protest. Serbia was considering new elections, while the opposition insisted that this be done by forming an unwanted transitional government by Vucic.

Meanwhile, Serbian students who left for Strasbourg on wheels to deliver letters to the European institutions for the situation in the country have reached the Austrian city of Linz. The group of about 80 people, who left April 3, then moved to Strasbourg, and daily plans to travel up to 145 km.
