Earlier, witnesses saw them together – a woman, an infant and an American. Those among others They were holding hands and spoke English. They lived in a shelter at the Vatican and seemed to be a family. Investigators claim that there was a quarrel between them.
After the victims were killed, the suspect escaped to Greece – which « does not look good », as prosecutor Francesco Lo Voi said.
The Greek police announced that the American would be formally arrested and will appear before the court for extradition.
