A 35-year-old prison officer murdered an orthopedist in Krakow
The tragedy took place on April 29 on the ground floor of an orthopedic clinic at ul. Jakubowski, around 10 am Jarosław W. went inside, and then invaded the office, where Dr. Sołecki received the patient. He attacked him in fury, seriously hurt him many times, then ran out of the hospital.
The attacker was quickly detained by hospital bodyguards and handed it over to officers. He only calmed down at the sight of policemen.
However, the doctor, despite immediate help, unfortunately did not survive.

It turns out that the 35-year-old striker Jarosław W. had an accident in the park two years ago, fell to concrete and was under the care of the University Hospital in Krakow, where Dr. Słowecki performed his elbow surgery.
– From now on it was getting worse and worse with his psyche. He believed that he was infected with some virus – say Jarosław W.’s parents in an interview with the reporter « TVN Note ». And they add that they tried to convince him that everything is fine. His father was even to suggest using psychiatric help, but he refused.
– And two weeks his condition has worsened at all – explains his mother, Teresa W., adding that he is not able to believe what happened. « I think it’s not true, » he says, crying.
The man will probably hear prosecutor’s allegations tomorrow. It was initially excluded that during the attack he was under the influence of alcohol, but it is not excluded that he could be under the influence of some other substances.
Adam Bodnar applies to dismiss the head of the Prison Service after the death of a doctor in Krakow
The tragedy was commented by Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar, submitting condolences to loved ones of the deceased.
« It is absolutely inconceivable to me that it happened that a public official, which is a doctor, dies while performing service, » Bodnar said.
He also announced that he would ask Prime Minister Donald Tusk to dismiss the General Director of the Prison Service. He also emphasized that such a situation should not occur. And he informed that the person detained in connection with the charges of murder is an officer of the Prison Service, employed in the Remand Center in Katowice.
