74 % of Slovaks plans more than one holiday this year

The younger generation of Slovak population may not consolidate their finances as it might seem at first sight. This stems from a new survey of Kiwi.com, according to which up to 74 percent of young Slovaks aged 18 to 37 are preparing for more than one foreign air this year the holiday.

However, we are more sensitive to tickets, traffic price increases, accommodation and increasing the prices of services in popular destinations.

The survey also found that the Bratislava airport is gaining popularity this year. Its share in the reserves of Slovaks created via Kiwi increased in 2025 to 20.5 percent, while the leader continues to be Vienna Airport with a share of 40.27 percent.

The share of the airport in Košice is also increasing – this year it accounts for 6.06 percent of the reservations.

We are troubled by more expensive travel

The stress of luggage and clothing

The greatest stress is concerned that we could lose their luggage at the airport or during the airport. It is felt by up to 34 percent of respondents.
